Abbots in Transition collects personal data when an individual voluntarily signs up to our newsletters, mailing lists & WhatsApp groups, or signs up to a bookable event. We also collect information through voluntary surveys for different projects. Website usage information is collected using cookies.
How will we use the information about you ?
We use personal contact information to communicate with you about our news & events, and local community events, via our quarterly newsletter, and via any specific project mailing lists, newsletters or WhatsApp groups.
Survey data will be used to understand needs whilst implementing and evaluating projects. Your personal data will not be used in any other way unless expressly stated at the time the survey took place.
We use your information collected from the website and social media to track the demographic of people interacting with us. Data will not be identifiable.
Will we share your personal data ?
We will never share your personal data with anyone outside of Abbots in Transition, except when required to do so legally ie to law enforcement agencies.
Your personal data will not be shared between separate Abbots in Transition projects- if you are on a mailing list for one project you will not be added to any other Abbots in Transition mailing lists.
