World Clean Up Day is on Sunday 20th September. Abbots in Transition have two ways you could join in.
Anytime local litter pick: Do a litter pick in your local area. Tell us where you did your litter pick and send us photos of what you collected (email abbotsintransition@gmail.com or tag us on facebook @Abbots In Transition)
On the day litter pick walks: On Sunday 20th September, walk to the Millennium Gardens in the village centre and collect litter on the way Abbots in Transition will be in the Millennium Gardens from 12:30pm-1:30pm to collect your litter and provide refreshments. Please try and separate recyclable and non-recyclable items as you collect them.
Stay safe when litter picking ! Wear gloves and use litter pickers if you have them. Leave hazardous items (e.g. broken glass, syringes, unknown liquids).
