Friends of Kings Langley Station

Since Spring 2023 a small group of volunteers have been meeting monthly to add planting to the bank outside of Kings Langley station. The aim of this project is to increase the bio-diversity of plant and insect life at the station and also to make the bank more beautiful and interesting to look at.

Initially the bank was mostly grass with some dog daisies and lots of nettles ! We have gradually been removing the grass and adding perennial flowers, herbs and grasses. We were very pleased to see a wider variety of insects in spring/summer 2024.
